After
Midnight My Love

Light a fire for my love
as we burn amongst the universe,
dim the light of our mind,
dim the light
as the cool allure runs empty
from the defection of all love.
And as we taste the pain of holding hands
in a dream of despair,
we know dear we have touched upon that special place.
I want to read poetry from the world outside
of contemplative contempt...
I know my dear
this is a sad reprieve
from all variations of truth.
My thoughts of love
commands me to sing
when I have nothing-
as I arrive from the empty years of love.
