Escapades
a poem

Shuffling the grass,
Once up, once down,
Griping again, never biting,
Releasing, holding,
Rolling
On the grass- the gossiping bedsheet.
At times, creased when dry
At times, swishing when slipped,
The motherly grass bears their squashes;
The fatherly mountain shelters their play.
Far from the drifting gazes,
Who would see those distant shadows
Hidden by the breeze of the tuffs?
I was just walking by rejoicing
The oceanic breeze of the plain
Where the fatherly mountain had filled my gaze
When my eyes caught the tussling kittens.
