My Soul Hurts
a poem

Who said that life is fair?
Who said that love doesn't hurt?
Who promised me to be together always
Besides last night, today and this weekend

So many things that I expected
So many dreams are gone
When you left, so many words I didn't have a chance
To tell you, the words that mean a lot for me.

Those words will die with silence inside me
I'll never whisper them to anyone else
I lost belief in love, I lost hope in a future
Without you I can't exist.

I walked at the beach last night
And I was dreaming that we were there together
Again it's just my dream, I am awake.

I waited so long for someone like you
I built my dreams with my two hands
Three months are gone, I learned one thing:
To close my heart and soul and never open
To anyone else...ever...
