Night cloaks the world
Makes us invisible
And for a moment
Nonexistent
The moon
Everchanging
Wondrous light of eve
Guides the night
Day brings us back
We resume
Our lives unfold
In sweet monotony
The sun
Blazing fury
Sets our clocks
And warms our skin
